A group project that explores slow design and embedding nature and the resources that we already have at hand at home.
The project was developed as part of a 4 week experimental project to learn how to work as a team. My role in the group was the photographer/ filmmaker and researcher. I used my role to capture our experiments as using photography was an effect way to get our message across.
We used natural dye made from fruits and vegetables and dipped them into snails to create organic patterns, the technique can be applied to fabric or paper to create patterned wrapping paper for example. This technique of printing is and easy and acessable way of creating patterns at home.
